In response to many practitioner requests, we are pleased to announce the formation of the Institute, whose objects are to further the understanding and practice of therapy using magnetic fields, to undertake research via its members, to provide qualifications to successful candidates in its examinations at the highest scientific standards, and to represent the profession to the public, the medical profession and Government.
Certificate and Diploma in Magnetotherapy The Institute invites applications from candidates wishing to complete the Certificate and Diploma Home study course in magnetotherapy. Though designed for practising therapists, it is also suitable for those distributing magnetic therapy products. The Certificate Course is designed in six segments, each with its own textbook covering aspects of the science, and requiring from candidates essays demonstrating their competence. History and research literature; the Physics and Biology of Magnetism; Circulatory Conditions, Skeletomuscular Disorders; Electropollution; Application Techniques; and Immune-related Treatments are among topics covered. The Diploma, a higher qualification, is issued to Certificated students who also present an approved magnet therapy thesis, (including practical work) to publication standard. The two Courses may run concurrently. Subscribing Candidates will receive FREE as part of their tuition 12 Coghill SuperMagnets (retail value over £450) for research purposes or resale. All course materials and text books, including complimentary copies of Something in the Air, Electrohealing, and The Gaia Book of Magnet Healing Access to bioelectromagnetics peer-reviewed research reports (The Institute has some 5000 related studies) Listing on the Institute’s website with webspace for individual therapists’ services. Course Fees: The Certificate Course is normally £600-00 plus VAT, and the Diploma course an additional £150-00 plus VAT. Currently we are offering the Certificate home study course at only £500-00 plus VAT. (payable via a 40% deposit, and the balance over four months).
